A few good bulliten points...

The end of what was in most a horrible year has passed. All I have done throughout 2011 is focus on the bad so I see no reason to not take a few minutes and many letters and focus on the good of the year, that is of course the parts of it I have not managed to block out somehow. Lets see..

1. My best friend Amanda Rhymes got married and I got to be her maid of honor. It was amazing getting to plan the wedding with her and then seeing the photos taken by the amazing Alise Carter. I am so glad shes happy.

2. I figured out a plan for my life. Save up money, enroll in Aveda - New Orleans in September. Hopefully with a job at Sephora or working for the movie industry.

3. I burned everything bad in my life 2 hours before the new year hit. Literally...burned. It is all ashes now.

4. Edgefest 7. Stone Sour live. So Happy. Plus all the other amazing acts I saw that day.

5. Getting to hang out with Halestorm and talk to Lzzy Hale and watching her send my Ginna a voice mail since she wasn't able to be at the concert. Lzzy is an amazing girl and the story to how she recorded Bad Romance was funny. Adelitas Way was amazing that night telling him I used to dance to 2 of their songs was awesome. It was a great and tiring girls night!

6. Evil Visions, the best job I've ever had I got to finally do something creative and amazing in the makeup field that I loved. I had great bosses and coworkers that became friends. I would love to have that job forever.

7. I met wonderful people this year, Danni, Chelsea, Kat, Mrs Tammy and Kassidy. And I started talking to 3 wonderful people I met in 2010 Arlisha, Amanda and Monique. I miss them.

8. I got to relive being 17-18 the last week of the year. Out of nowhere Darren came to see me and stay with me at my mom and dads house. Something that hasn't happened in 4 years. We got to lay there and relive being younger and still crazy and even though he had to leave the next day, we made the most of the morning, laughed the entire time he was there and I was close to happy. Then 2 nights later Heather came to stay the night with me, random adventures in the Bastrop Wal-mart, talking in her car and on my couch for hours and staring at the stars made the think of when she lived with me and that was our daily routine. I miss those days.  I miss them all but was so happy to re-live.

9. My Ginna got to come visit me a few times this year, I love that girl.

10. I moved back in with mom and dad. I love being home I have missed my parents, I have missed my room, I have missed all of this.

11. I got to ring in the new year with actual friends. Not all of them but still friends. Not in a bar, at the house in a safe, happy, board game filled environment with the NBC countdown on TV, champagne in random glasses, fireworks in the front yard and kids terrified of sparklers. It was amazing and then today I had mom cooked cabbage, black eyed peas with ham hocks for dinner.

Maybe this and a little determination is all I need to make this next year great. So here is a toast to hoping towards happiness for the year of 2012.

Just realized I made a list of 11 things...about the year 2011...damn I am good.
